1. Who We Are

no-reply.email (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the website at https://no-reply.email. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our email diagnostic tools and services.

2. What Data We Collect

We collect as little data as possible. Here is a complete breakdown:

2.1 Data You Provide to Our Tools

When you use our tools (SPF checker, DKIM checker, MX lookup, etc.), you enter information such as domain names, IP addresses, email addresses, or email headers.

  • This data is sent to our server solely to perform the requested lookup.
  • We do not store, log, or retain any query data. Once the result is returned to your browser, the data is discarded from server memory.
  • We do not build profiles based on your queries.
  • We do not share query data with any third party.

2.2 Analytics Data

We use the following analytics services to understand how our site is used:

Cloudflare Web Analytics

  • Cloudflare Analytics is privacy-focused and does not use cookies.
  • It collects anonymised, aggregated data such as page views, referrers, country of origin, browser type, and device type.
  • No personally identifiable information (PII) is collected.
  • Data is processed by Cloudflare, Inc. under their privacy policy.

Google Analytics

  • We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to analyse website traffic and usage patterns.
  • Google Analytics uses cookies to distinguish unique users and sessions.
  • Data collected includes: pages visited, time on site, referral source, approximate geographic location (city/country level), device and browser information.
  • IP addresses are anonymised before processing.
  • We do not enable Google’s advertising features, User-ID tracking, or cross-device tracking.
  • Data is processed by Google LLC under their privacy policy.
  • You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

2.3 Server Logs

Our web server may automatically collect standard access logs which include your IP address, browser user agent, the pages you visited, and the date and time of your visit. These logs are used solely for security monitoring and debugging purposes and are automatically deleted after 30 days. They are not shared with any third party.

2.4 Cookies

no-reply.email does not set any first-party cookies. Third-party services we use (such as Google Analytics) may set cookies as described above. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

3. How We Use Your Data

The limited data we collect is used exclusively to:

  • Perform the DNS lookups and email diagnostics you request
  • Understand aggregate usage patterns to improve our tools
  • Monitor and maintain the security of our infrastructure
  • Debug technical issues with our services

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, marketing, or any purpose other than those listed above.

4. Data Storage and Security

  • Query data is never stored. All DNS lookups and tool queries are processed in real-time and discarded immediately after the results are returned.
  • No databases are used to store user queries or results.
  • Our servers are protected behind Cloudflare’s network, which provides DDoS protection, Web Application Firewall (WAF), and TLS encryption.
  • All connections to no-reply.email are encrypted via HTTPS/TLS.
  • API endpoints are rate-limited to prevent abuse.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your data to anyone. We share data only with:

  • Cloudflare, Inc.— as our CDN and security provider, Cloudflare processes web traffic on our behalf. See their privacy policy.
  • Google LLC— as our analytics provider, Google processes anonymised analytics data. See their privacy policy.
  • Public DNS providers— when you use our tools, we query public DNS servers (Google DNS, Cloudflare DNS, OpenDNS, Quad9, etc.) on your behalf. These queries contain only the domain name or IP address you entered — no personal information is transmitted.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (including under GDPR, UK GDPR, and CCPA), you may have the following rights:

  • Right of access— request what data we hold about you. As we do not store query data, there is typically nothing to disclose beyond standard server logs.
  • Right to erasure — request deletion of your data.
  • Right to object — object to processing of your data.
  • Right to restrict processing— request we limit how we process your data.
  • Right to data portability— request a copy of your data in a portable format.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@no-reply.email. We will respond within 30 days.

7. International Data Transfers

Our servers are located in the European Union. Analytics data may be processed by Google LLC in the United States, subject to appropriate safeguards under their data processing terms. Cloudflare processes traffic at edge locations worldwide under their data processing addendum.

8. Children’s Privacy

Our services are not directed at children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. Data Retention

  • Tool queries: Not retained. Discarded immediately after processing.
  • Server logs: Automatically deleted after 30 days.
  • Analytics data: Retained by Cloudflare and Google in accordance with their respective retention policies.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
